It’s National Volunteer Week! Thank you to our many OSCPA members who volunteer countless hours each year to The Ohio Society. As one member so perfectly put it, “We are stronger together than we would ever be alone.”
Over the past year, our volunteers have:
- Kept the movement alive to drive municipal tax uniformity
- Taught financial literacy to more than 12,000 5th and 6th grade elementary students
- Prepared income taxes for nearly 50 actively deployed soldiers and for families of soldiers killed in battle
- Matched volunteers with not-for-profit organizations in need of treasurers and boards

who breathe life into OSCPA’s committees, councils and task forces. New for 2013: CPA Day of Service

Volunteers will offer services ranging from stocking food pantry shelves to gardening, painting, cleaning or completing general office work.
The Young CPAs Board are coordinating teams for various agencies in:
You don’t have to be a CPA to volunteer – you just have to want to make life better for those in your community. The CPA Day of Service is open to members, student affiliates, their families, co-workers and peers.
