Catalyst self-assessment exam

Available self-assessment exams: 

• Members can take the self-assessment exam online for just $25, non-members for just $35.
• Access the latest issue of Catalyst, as well as the past six issues on the Catalyst Online page.

A self-assessment exam is published in each issue of Catalyst. Issues are published six times annually―January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October and November/December.

Exams can be submitted for two hours of CPE for one year after publication. The CPE credits are approved by the Accountancy Board of Ohio and are determined on an issue by issue basis. To receive credit, you must earn a grade of 75% or better.

The exams are available in print in the magazine and online.

Costs of the exam are as follows:

Payment for online exams is due upon submission. There are no refunds for self-assessment exams.

Respondents who submit a print self-assessment exam from Catalyst will be notified by e-mail of their exam results. Respondents who take the self-assessment exam online will receive their results immediately upon submission and should print their automatic confirmation at that time for their records.

No additional confirmation will be sent to online self-assessment exam participants. A 75% grade or higher qualifies for passing. Exam participants should save their results confirmations; however, official transcripts of CPE credit provided by The Ohio Society will include CPE credit earned from taking the self-assessment exam.
