CO and MN join states adopting interstate mobility laws
Colorado and Minnesota last week joined Ohio in passing laws allowing for no-notification, no-fee interstate practice by CPAs who are not located in those states.
To date, mobility laws have been adopted in OH, IL, IA, IN, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NM, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV and WI. Bills in CO, GA and MD still await gubernatorial signature.
In addition, mobility legislation is pending in 12 other states: AL, AZ, CA, CT, DE, HI, MA, MI, NJ, OK, PA and SC. All laws except GA and IA fully follow Uniform Accountancy Act standards.
