Recognize excellence in the profession with OSCPA member awards

Celebrate CPAs who have made significant contributions to the profession. Nominate your peers for the 2009 Ohio Society Member Awards.

Each year, Society members can nominate individuals in four award categories recognizing professional and personal accomplishments and efforts. The most outstanding of these CPAs are recognized annually at The Ohio Society of CPAs Members Summit and Annual Meeting.

Nominations are due Jan. 29, 2010, for the following awards:

Gold Medal for Meritorious Service to the Profession
The highest award given to members, the Gold Medal recognizes significant contributions to the accounting profession or to The Ohio Society. Candidates should be outstanding leaders, both professionally and in Society affairs.

Outstanding Member Volunteer Award
The Outstanding Member Volunteer Award is given to an Ohio Society member who exemplifies the best in volunteer service within The Ohio Society of CPAs, demonstrating leadership through commitment, contribution and responsibility for events, activities or committees of The Ohio Society.

Public Service Award
The Public Service Award recognizes a CPA who freely and generously donates time and knowledge to charitable, professional, governmental or other public service organizations; makes outstanding contributions to the community; and also enhances the professional image of CPAs.

Outstanding Ohio Accounting Educator Award
The Outstanding Ohio Accounting Educator Award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the profession both in and out of the classroom through teaching excellence and professional service to accounting organizations.
