Ohio's 2010-2011 Budget

A high-level OSCPA member task force reviewed Ohio’s revenue generating and spending practices and presented recommendations for short- and long-term solutions to Gov. Strickland in November 2009. OSCPA took the next step in the conversation, hosting a forum at the Ohio Statehouse featuring leading authorities from Washington, Florida and Indiana who detailed their successful state and local budget reforms for Ohio legislators, policymakers and media.

OSCPA Forum highlights state budget solutions
The Ohio Society of CPAs brought its Budget Advisory Task Force report to life this week – hosting a Forum featuring leading authorities from Washington, Florida and Indiana who detailed their successful state and local budget reforms for Ohio legislators, policymakers and media.

Performance audit bill unanimously passes in Ohio Senate
OSCPA-supported legislation mandating performance audits for state agencies passed the Ohio Senate in a unanimous vote.
