Go “International” and find “Fraud” with new OSCPA special interest sections


OSCPA is expanding its offering of special interest sections that let you customize your membership with the Society and put you in touch with your virtual peers in Ohio.

New sections this year include:

    • Fraud & Forensic Accounting
    • International

Three sections had name changes this year to better reflect the content focus:

    • Business & Industry
      Formerly known as the Financial Management Section, the section is being renamed to focus in on the members of the section – CPAs working in business and corporate industry in Ohio.

    • Local Firm Management
      Formerly known as the Management of a Practice Section, the name change recognizes the increased focus on major concerns and issues particularly those facing sole practitioners and small firm owners.

    • Personnel Management
      Formerly known as the Human Resources Section, this section is taking a greater focus on employee-related issues, including management, dealing with conflicts, leadership, coaching and much more
