The Ohio CPA Referral Service

The CPA Referral Service is a public service offered by The Ohio Society of CPAs to assist you in finding a CPA – one who specializes in the kind of accounting you need and practices in a location convenient to you.

Use the Ohio Referral Service

You will be referred to at least three CPA firms in your area offering the services you are requesting. There is no cost to utilize the referral service. Firms enrolled in the program will provide an initial consultation session up to a half hour at no charge.

CPAs act as advisers to individuals, businesses, financial institutions, non-profit organizations and government agencies on a wide range of business and financial matters. People turn to CPAs for business advice as well as for help with income tax preparation. CPAs can help with personal financial planning to build college funds, plan for retirement, and create estate plans.

Business owners and managers of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations routinely depend on CPAs for auditing services and help with developing effective accounting systems, maximizing operating results, and resolving management problems. CPAs also assist businesses in designing and installing data processing and automated management information systems.

Don't underestimate the value of the CPA designation. Those three letters are awarded to individuals who have passed a rigorous uniform national examination, fulfilled demanding state licensing requirements and demonstrated their professional competence. And all CPAs must satisfy extensive continuing education requirements to keep their CPA licenses current.
