Sections take on new look and new delivery

This is an exciting year to be a member of one of OSCPA’s 14 special interest sections. This year, you can take advantage of many section benefits, including a new e-mail format. The weekly newsletters are now more user friendly – allowing members to review the news and access the information quickly and easily.

Another change is the delivery method. Member question and answer messages will now be delivered in real-time, rather than in one daily digest . With faster delivery of discussion thread messages, members will receive a faster response to their questions.   However, those who prefer to have all section messages delivered in a single digest only need to send an e-mail to Erin Lasch at elasch@ohio-cpa.com with your request.

The change in delivery time is being made in response to member demand. Section members that do wish to receive a digest rather than real-time messages should send an e-mail to Erin Lasch at elasch@ohio-cpa.com.
Section membership includes:

  • Weekly e-mail newsletter
  • Custom Web pages
  • Listserv Q&A discussion threads
  • Hot Topic Webinars
  • Access to peer network with common areas of interest
  • Leadership and volunteer opportunities
  • Invitations to section-member-only breakfast roundtables

The Ohio Society’s special interest sections are bridges that connect members with their peers, allowing them to organize over areas of common interest and professional expertise.

If you have any questions regarding your section membership, please contact the Society’s member service center at cpanswers@ohio-cpa.com or 888.959.1212.
