Special Interest Section Leader
What is a Special Interest Section Leader?
 |
A Special Interest Section Leader is a member who has expertise in one of the 14 Special Interest Sections. This member volunteers their time and knowledge to enrich the Special Interest Section of their choice. Section leaders work with the Society staff to increase the value of Section membership, engage members with their section peers, generate new and innovative ideas, and increase Special Interest Section memberships. |
As a Special Interest Section Leader what will I do?
Special Interest Section Leaders provide Society staff with feedback on Special Interest Section content in the section newsletters, webinars, and other program offerings. They also provide guidance on relevant topics, enhancements to section services and ways to increase the benefits provided to section members.
Do I qualify to participate?
To qualify as a Special Interest Section Leader you must be a member or affiliate of The Ohio Society of CPAs and a member of the Special Interest Section you wish to assist. You must also have a level of expertise in the Special Interest Section’s focus area.
