Directions & parking
Sharonville Convention Center
The Sharonville Convention Center is conveniently located just 15 miles north of downtown Cincinnati at the intersection of I-75 and I-275. Parking is free for all attendees.
Once on I-75, take the Sharon Road exit, exit 15.
Hotel reservations
The Society has reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Sheraton Cincinnati North, 11320 Chester Road. It is conveniently located next to the Convention Center and the room rate is $109. You can make reservations via phone 513.771.2080 or online at www.sheraton.com/CincinnatiNorth.
Please make your reservations by Sept. 8 and remember to indicate that you are with The Ohio Society of CPAs to obtain the preferred rate. Reservations requested after Sept. 8 are based upon availability.
FAQs
Q. How many CPE credits will I earn?
A. If you attend five 60-minute sessions (5 x 60 = 300), you will earn eight hours of CPE credit per day. Your credit hours will be tabulated according to the area of study of the session(s) you attend. If more than 50% of the 300 minutes is taken in the same subject area, the additional hours earned will be applied to these same areas.
CPE credits will be adjusted for those who do not obtain 300 instructional minutes per program day. Credits earned will be calculated on actual classroom time. Participant will earn one credit per 50 instructional minutes. Any twenty-five minute period will equal one-half credit.
Q. How does the Society track my CPE?
A. CPE reporting forms will be located in your registration packet. There are separate forms for each day of the show. Please turn them in at the end of each day or your credit will not be tracked. Collection boxes will be located at registration and the information desk. Visit the registration desk or information desk if you would like a duplicate form for your records.
Q. Will I receive a confirmation when I register?
A. Yes, all course confirmations will be sent via e-mail. If the Society doesn’t have your e-mail address on file, your confirmation will be delivered via mail.
Q. How late can I register?
A. You can register for the show up to the day of the event.
Q. What is the cancellation policy for the show?
A. There is a $40 cancellation fee for cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the program date.
Q. Will lunch be served?
A. Lunch is included with your registration fee.
