Oswald sponsors OSCPA Underwriting Day

During OSCPA Underwriting Day, June 11, Oswald Companies will review and discuss your group applications in person with an Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield underwriter.

The concept is to create bulk-buying leverage by submitting multiple group applications at one time. This allows The Ohio Society and Oswald Companies to:

• Maximize bargaining power for your company
• Negotiate directly, in person, with Anthem underwriters
• Speed up the application process

Participating in the OSCPA Underwriting Day is easy – here’s how it works:

1. Complete a group enrollment form for your company.
2. Have each full-time employee complete an employee enrollment form.
3. Complete an employee census form.
4. Make a copy of your most recent carrier bill and you current plan design.
5. Send the above information to Rob Peirce at Oswald Companies no later than June 2, 2008.

HSAs are a tax-advantaged personal savings or investment account available to taxpayers who are enrolled in a qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP). The funds contributed to the account are not subject to federal income tax at the time of deposit and may be withdrawn at any time to pay for qualified medical expenses without any federal tax liability.
