This CPA is building a better tomorrow – Watch him on YouTube!

For Bob Fay, being a CPA is not about number crunching. He uses his training and knowledge to build better communities – literally. Bob volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and has worked with the organization for years.

Through Habitat for Humanity, he puts his experience as a CPA to work for Ohio families who don’t qualify for a mortgage because they have lower paying jobs.

What is Habitat for Humanity? It’s a non-profit organization that builds and rehabilitates houses with the help of volunteer labor and donations of money and materials. The houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans.

In addition to a down payment and monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor into building their Habitat house, working alongside volunteers like Bob.

Bob gets to meet and work with these families, helping them buy homes and work out payments. Check out this YouTube video to see him in action!
