  • Team Strategic Planning
    If each team developed and managed a bottom-up strategic plan during the next 12 months, what impact would that have on your performance? What would that mean to employee morale and customer satisfaction? This program will teach you how to develop a strategic plan that focuses on what matters most to the team, the organization and your customers.

    You will learn how to create a mission statement that will guide the future success of the team; develop a vision statement, goals, objectives and set of values, establish performance measures that define success for each goal, and develop practical strategies for accomplishing each objective.

    Where can managers and leaders make their greatest contribution to business strategy? What alternatives exist in the development of business strategy? Is business strategy a plan, a design, a perspective or a position? What types of analyses are available to support strategic development? This program will give you a broad understanding of strategic approaches and tools highlighting important areas where financial analysis and perspectives are essential to support strong strategic decisions.

    Be equipped to enter the strategic conversation and contribute to the strategic development of your business. Participants will receive strategy tool guidelines and references for further investigation.

  • Financial Management – Tools and Techniques to Enhance Profitability
    Be prepared to advise the company’s owner or CEO on the difficult everyday decisions that ensure the success of the company. Use the tool kit provided by this course to enhance profitability. Shift from a reactive to a proactive mode of operation and end the constant firefighting common to many private companies. This course teaches you how to use various proven financial tools and techniques to assess the impact of day-to-day decisions on growing business operations and profitability. It presents and illustrates useful techniques for turning those difficult decisions into routine decisions that will maximize profitability and improve business performance.

  • Critical Performance Measures: Useful Tools for Gauging Success
    Successful organizations know how to effectively channel energies, abilities and knowledge of their people toward achieving short- and long-term strategic goals. Financial professionals have a special obligation to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization. Focusing on critical performance measures might change the way you measure and manage your company. Highlights of this course include key performance measures, balanced scorecard, performance metrics, the importance of “lag” and “lead” indicators and performance monitoring, and identifying and monitoring crucial metrics.
